Bands Vanished Souls / Ed Wood Jr /Persian RabbitVanished Souls :
Spotted at the junction of various kinds of music such as postrock, pop, folk, batucada and electronic, along with ethereal and melodic arrangements.
Ed Wood Jr :
Ed Wood Jr. defends his vision of an explosive, sober, mechanical and minimal rock in the vein of Electric Electric and Mnemotechnic, but whose electronic leanings are reminiscent of Battles, Fuck Buttons or PVT.
Persian Rabbit :
The quintet creates a “chamber” post-rock music that is immersed in a movie-like atmosphere and a heady melancholy. Their universe is an intimist and dark-colored one, tinged with a blurred optimism. It is with the help of quite various and original rock-sounding instruments (an harmonium, a double bass, a cello, drums and a guitar) that the band made their set list, both influenced by the dizzying music experimentations of « Godspeed You ! Black Emperor » and by the folk eloquence of Shannon Wright.
